Thursday, February 7, 2019
1-3pm OR 6-8pm
Christ gave us the method for forming missionary disciples. He goes before us and guides us in building a parish culture that leads people to a life of holiness, and culminates in a world transformed by Jesus Christ. Effective planning for ministry engages and inspires people through a culture of encounter and accompaniment, welcomes them into the community of faith, and encourages them to share their joy by proclaiming Christ to others.
This seminar will address these questions:
What does a disciple look like?
How do we form missionary disciples?
What enables a parish culture to become a disciple-making culture?
Where does a parish community begin when it wants to shape its culture to the goal of making disciples?
What areas of parish life need renewal in order for it to better carry out its divine mission of making disciples?
Join us for practical tips that will improve the environment in your parish, ministry, workplace, and home.
