Theology on Tap - Syracuse
Thursday, May 16, 2019
Theology on Tap is a monthly speaker series that takes place at local bars throughout the Diocese of Syracuse, focusing on a wide range of topics that directly affect the lives of young adults (ages 18-39). There's never any admission charge, so bring a friend!
This month's speaker is David Kilpatrick, a professor of psychology at the SUNY Cortland!
David's talk is titled "The God Thing: How Science, Logic, and History Can Help Answer Life’s Biggest Questions."
It is ironic that more and more people in today’s society identify as non-religious, while an increasing amount of scientific and historical evidence supports the Christian belief system. David will present scientific, logical, and historical evidence that supports a belief in God, the validity of the Gospel accounts about Jesus, and the reality of life-after-death.
