REDEFINING MISSION IN MARRIAGE: EXERCISING SPIRITUAL PARENTHOOD
You get married and have babies. Well, what if you are struggling with fertility issues? Can you still be a parent? Discover how you can still "parent" even when you don't have children [here on earth].
SPEAKER: Morgan Durfee
ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Morgan Durfee attended Ithaca College to earn a degree in Speech Communications with minors in Theatre and Deaf Studies. During her time in college, she took a leave of absence and served as a Hard as Nails Missionary, and so was introduced to Syracuse and grew a heart for ministry! After college, she returned to work for Hard as Nails as a Booking Manager until she married Daniel Durfee in 2017. She is now a proud dairy farmer's wife, and besides her work with the Durfee's Farm Stand, she has since worked a few different angles of ministry. These have included parish youth ministry and Natural Family Planning work for the diocese. She now works full-time as a Program Coordinator for the Diocesan Office of Family and Respect Life in addition to working as the NFP and Fertility Education Coordinator. She is also the mother of 4, represents Modern Nature (naturally-based hair products), and debuted her spiritual writing with The Magnificat (magazine) in December 2018.
