Let Us Act with Hope: Planting Creation Care Teams

Join us for this Virtual collaborative event with members from the Diocese of Syracuse, Ogdensburg, Albany and Rochester as we explore how to create Parish Creation Care Teams. This two evening event will begin with prayer by Bishop Lucia and Bishop LaValley.

Rev David McCullum, SJ will give our keynote address on the first evening encouraging Lay Leaders to care for our common home, the earth. Paz Artura-Regan from Cathoic Climate Covenant, Janet Broderick from the Diocese of Arlington, Vt, are among the presenters along with local leaders in creation care. 

Pope Francis' encyclical, Laudato Si' and his apostolic exhortation, Laudata Diem urge us to take action now to address the climate crisis. Our faith calls us to care for all of creation, most importantly the poorest of poor.
