Anne Costa, Revive Hope and Healing Ministries, and Carol Puschaver, St. Michael’s
Ministry, will present at the CNY Marian Center on two saints of Auschwitz: Edith Stein and Maximilian Kolbe.
Carol will share her personal photos from Auschwitz and Birkenau. Kolbe, who died of a fatal
injection in a cell at Auschwitz, founded the Knights of the Immaculata. Photos of his cell were
prohibited but Carol can describe the setting from memory.
Anne was awed by Stein’s writings and wrote her own book about Edith Stein. She will speak
about Edith Stein’s faith journey from agnostic to becoming Sister/Saint Teresa Benedicta of
the Cross. Please come and join us 1/2 hour before event begins for light refreshments.
