Theology Uncorked welcomes Jim Krisher Thursday, March 26, 2026 (last Thursday this month)

Jim’s title for his talk will be “The Meaning of Prayer.”

Join us as he explains the place of prayer in the context of Christian spirituality, different ways of understanding what prayer is, and how Church fathers and saints have offered insights into the practice of prayer.

Jim has been working in full-time ministry all his adult life. He is the founder and director emeritus of the Spiritual Renewal Center in Syracuse. He served as an adjunct professor of theology at Le Moyne College for over forty years, where he taught courses in New Testament and Christian spirituality, and as an instructor of first year Jesuit novices for twenty-five years at St. Andrew Hall novitiate in Syracuse.
